YEARS OF JOURNEY
Vision Gospel Ministries International was founded in 1985 by Bishop Ernest Irungu. With a heart full of passion for the gospel and a deep commitment to serving communities, Bishop Irungu established the ministry with the vision of spreading the message of Jesus Christ to all corners of the world. Over the years, the church has grown significantly, touching countless lives through its teachings, outreach programs, and unwavering dedication to the gospel.
Today, the leadership of Vision Gospel Ministries International continues under the capable guidance of Assistant Bishop Sussay Alphonso, who supports the ministry’s mission with zeal and faithfulness. The day-to-day spiritual activities of the church are shepherded by Pastor Samuel Mwambola, who leads the congregation with a strong commitment to the word of God and pastoral care.

Evening Prayers
We hold prayers via Zoom every evening. These sessions are a time of collective intercession, spiritual growth, and encouragement as we connect in faith.

Foundation and Purpose
VGM was established with the aim of advancing the Christian religion in Newham and the surrounding areas.
Our activities include holding prayer meetings, conducting lectures, and producing and distributing literature on Christianity to enlighten others about the faith.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Bible
The Bible represents the mind of Christ and serves as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
God
There exists one God, revealed in three distinct personalities: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Satan’s Reality
We acknowledge the reality of Satan and his influence over the unbelievers.
Christian Beliefs
Our faith is grounded in:
- The Deity of Jesus Christ
- His sinless life
- His miracles
- His atoning death through His shed blood
- His resurrection
- His ascension to the right hand of the Father
- His future return of our Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory as Lord and King
- The fall of humanity and the need for rebirth through faith in Jesus Christ
- The reconciliation of humanity to God through Christ’s sacrifice
- The eternal destinies of believers and unbelievers
- The ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts among believers since Pentecost.
